In 2021, Kombu Viva was born, a sparkling elixir resulting from a merger between Homelab and two benchmarks of excellence made in Portugal: Niepoort, producer of Nat’Cool natural wines; and Camélia, the only tea plantation in mainland Portugal.

Our drinks respect ancestral production methods: fermentation is natural and unpasteurized, and we don’t add preservatives or artificial aromas.

Learning & Partnership

From this joint effort, three organic labels were developed that reflect the nuances of teas in their most genuine elements. The entire process follows traditional methods of production, with natural, unpasteurized fermentation. There are no added preservatives or artificial aromas.

Kombu Viva Rosé is made from a blend of sencha green tea and culinary roses grown next to the tea plantation, while Kombu Viva Green is a blend of very special Japanese green teas. Our most recent kombucha is Lemongrass, an invigoratingly fresh blend that combines Japanese sencha with Portuguese lemongrass.
